Discover 8 Priceless Ways to Improve Your Article Marketing

Filed Under (article marketing) by Roy Sutanto on 30-03-2008

What they say is true: Article marketing is currently the most powerful traffic-generating and product marketing tool in the internet today. Millions of ebusiness owners are using it not just because it’s effective, but most importantly, it is free and easy to use.

Here are the 8 priceless ways to improve your article marketing:

1. One of the main reasons why you are publishing your articles is to build rapport with your potential clients. You would want them to like you so they will eventually consider doing business with you. One of the best ways to achieve this goal is by taking the time and making your author’s bio interesting. Most publishing sites allow you to introduce yourself to your readers so they would know more about you on a personal level. List down your hobbies, interests, your expertise, your desire to help, and some of your personal information. Don’t forget to include your most recent photos so your readers can connect the information with a face.

2. Consider your target market. Never write based on what you want to know and put your readers on top of your priority list. Consider their needs, their pressing issues, their demands, and the things that they are deeply passionate about. These are the topics that you should write about to effectively drive them to your website.

3. Learn how to attract attention online. If you are unable to grab the attention of online users, your marketing efforts will go down the drain. Learn the ways on how to get people to notice you by using striking titles that can easily pique the curiosity of your potential clients. Use powerful words, communicate the benefits you can offer to your readers, and be direct to the point.

4. Be a good source of information. By this, I mean offering your readers with fresh, unique content and not just re-writes of articles that are posted on the web. For your articles to be valuable, they need to include content that cannot be found elsewhere.

5. Be entertaining. Never sound boring or you’ll instantly lose the business of your readers. Make your articles sound upbeat, entertaining, friendly, and warm so you can easily build that connection with your potential clients.

6. Be trustworthy. If you would like people to trust you, you need to strive on giving them content that are credible and fact-based. Remember, one wrong information can easily mislead your readers. This can greatly hurt your online credibility and make you easily lose your clients.

7. Create more inbound links for your website. There are actually 2 ways to do that: multiply the number of your articles and focus on the quality of your content. When you increase the number of your output, you will gain one quality inbound link per submission. You will also increase your backlinks when you create great articles as you can be assured that they will be picked up and widely republished by other marketers.

8. Maximize the use of your resource box. You can actually use 3 hyperlinks within your resource box that will drive your readers to your website. Take advantage of this to increase the chances of your site being visited. I suggest that you use 2 anchor texts and an absolute URL.

7 Outstanding Ways to Make Money through Article Marketing

Filed Under (article marketing) by Roy Sutanto on 29-03-2008

If there is one simple and easy way to make money on the internet, it is through writing and distributing your articles to various publishing sites. This simple and quick process which is commonly referred to as article marketing can effectively drive quality traffic to your website and increase your sales potentials.

Here are the 7 outstanding ways to make money through article marketing:

1. Write more. If you want online users to consider you as an expert on your chosen niche, you have to make them feel that you have so much valuable information to share. You can do that by writing numerous articles. Explore all the topics that play crucial roles in your target niche and those which interest your potential clients and write about them. Running out of great topic ideas? Visit forums that are frequented by your target market or access leading article submission sites. These are gold mines in niche-related topics that you can use when writing your articles.

2. Stick with short articles. As you know, the audience you are serving have limited attention span and have little time to spare when surfing the net for valuable information. Based on research, people online appreciate getting the information they need upfront and prefer short, direct to the point articles. Increase the chances of your articles being read by keeping their word count to 300-500. It would also help if you can make them scannable so your readers can easily skim through your content.

3. Do your research. Your main objective in writing your articles is to inform your audience or equip them with valuable knowledge that can help them in improving the quality of their lives or resolving their pressing issues. Thus, it is of outmost importance that everything you put on your content are fact-based and credible to avoid misleading your readers.

4. Constantly improve your writing skills. This is one of the most effective secrets if you want to get ahead of the pack. Make it a habit to write articles on a regular basis or read articles and ebooks that can effectively help you smoothen out the rough edges of your writing. By doing so, you can be assured that you will be able to deliver better articles each time you write.

5. Create killer resource box. If your resource box contains your website’s URL alone, you are missing a lot of opportunities. To make it work for you, make sure that you include your name, your title, your elevator pitch and your powerful call to action. You can also offer incentives or communicate your desire to help to make it even more enticing.

6. Multiply the number of your articles. One of the elements that can guarantee you success in article marketing is the quantity of your output. Remember, the more articles you submit, the more quality inbound links you will obtain for your website.

7. Outsource. If you are like most webmasters who are always swamped with other marketing activities or someone who doesn’t have a knack for writing, you can still utilize this marketing tool by hiring ghostwriters or article posters. Just make sure that your ghostwriters understand your niche very well and have the ability to create articles that are targeted to the needs and demands of your potential clients.

I know one place to outsource quality and unique article as cheap as 67 cents per article. Click here if you are interested in getting one.

How To Make Money Online

Filed Under (make money online) by Roy Sutanto on 28-03-2008

If you are wondering how to make money online but do not know how to start, do not worry too much. In this blog post, I will go through some basic ideas that you must know before getting started. This blog post will not make you an expert but should be able to provide you with some ideas and guidelines on what skill and tools you need to have.

These are the 4 things you need:
1) A simple one page website with a lead capture form
2) An autoresponder service
3) A blog
4) Last but not least, TRAFFIC (Visitors)

Let’s discuss them in more details.

1) A simple one page website

Perhaps you may think it is too simple but the truth is you don’t need to build complicated one hundred pages websites to start making money online. All you need is one simple webpage with a lead capture form to capture your visitors’ name and email address.

The reason why you want to capture their name and email address is for you to follow up with them again and again instead of losing them forever. For example, if you are trying to sell a house decoration product to a house owner, you will want to offer a free report like “How To Decorate Your House Beautifully With Budget As Low As $100″ in exchange for their email address.

Creating a website is simple. If you do not have frontpage or adobe dreamweaver, what you can do is to go to each of the website and download the trial version. However if you want free software to create website, go to www.nvu.com to get one.

2) An autoresponder service

An autoresponder is a form of email software which able to capture your visitors name and email address then automate the sending of your email. An autoresponder is needed so that it can follow up with your visitors automatically for you. It may come in the form of a software or a paid service. The autoresponder that I am using is called Get Response . You can learn more and get it for free by clicking here

3) A blog

You may also want to consider starting a blog. It is recommended to use a wordpress blog which I am using right now. You will need to register for a webhosting account as well as a domain name. You should choose a domain name with relevant keywords.

The purpose of a blog is to provide your visitors with relevant and useful content regularly so that you visitors will return to your blog. You will then be able to sell services from your blog.

Obviously, it will take some effort for you to generate sufficient traffic to your blog which leads to….

4) Traffic Generation

Let me tell you the truth! Your website or blog is useless if no one visits them, agree?
You should try to master how to generate free traffic. This is especially important to people who have limited funds as well as beginners. Some free traffic generation techniques are article marketing, forum posting, social networking site etc.

I am currently only using 2 method to generate traffic: Article marketing and Blogging. Both of them work very well and I have been getting massive amount of visitors to my website.

If you are having limited fund, I recommend you to use article marketing and blogging first. After you have some extra income, you could proceed to use paid traffic like pay per click.

Click here to learn more about how Article Marketing can generate traffic to your website.

Hopefully, this article has given you some ideas on what to research for.

If you really have the desire to make money online but after reading my blog post you still confused, no direction, don’t understand then you absolutely need to invest in education first.

I was once like you, I know nothing on how to make money online but after my intensive research on internet, I finally found the best home study course which has great value and some more it’s affordable. This course has become my bible in making money online. It will teach you everything you need to know to start your online business from scratch and the result is phenomenal. You Must Have Self Motivation To Succeed

Filed Under (make money online, affiliate marmeting, internet marketing) by Roy Sutanto on 26-03-2008

Self motivation is a key factor in building any Internet based affiliate marketing opportunity. With many things in our lives to distract us and even more things we might like to do better than working we must be self motivated to effectively build our home based business. Unlike the corporate world where we have bosses leaning over us and corporate deadlines to meet the legitimate home based business owner must set his own goals and have the motivation to see them through. Below are 5 tips to help you become self motivated.

Five Self Motivating Tips

Tip Number One is to Involve The People You Know

This first tip is one of the hardest for many people because it involves your pride. You are putting yourself on the line and doing anything other than what you promised can mean failure to yourself and to your friends. This tip is to involve others in your project. Even those of us who live very Hermit like lives know people we can involve. They can be personal friends, people in our neighborhoods, family and those we have occasional casual conversations with. By telling these people what you are doing and by setting a date for completion you are placing expectations in the minds of your friends and family.

This will actually do two things for you. First it will give you motivation to complete your project on the specified date because you now have people who are expecting to see it at a certain time. Secondly it will push you to do your very best on your project. No one wants to show their friends something they just completed but was only done half as well as it could be. Your pride will not let you do that. By involving others you are motivating yourself to be the best you can be and to do the best work you possibly can. Peer pressure even when you create it yourself is a very strong motivational factor

The Second Tip Involves Setting A Due Date

Like any business you have to have a set schedule that includes your legitimate home based business opportunities must have set business hours, when you will work and when you will quit. You must also have set schedules and due dates for the completion of your projects and home based business building goals. When setting your time frames and due dates make a list of what this schedule will do for you and your business and of the consequences of not meeting the deadline.

For instance many people have a goal of accomplishing a project that will promote their business each week such as a promotional package or advertising campaign. Having an understanding that accomplishing this task at a set time will give your business a predetermined amount of exposure and build your business at an acceptable rate you can motivate yourself to completing the task on time.

The Third Step Is To Give Yourself A Treat.

Life has many examples of how treating yourself can give you motivation to complete your projects on time. Pavlov’s dogs are a prime example. By building an expectation of a desired result you can push yourself to finish your work. If the result is a treat and you have a desire to receive that treat each time you start a task you will have the motivation to complete the task each and every time you start on a project.

Make the treat something you strongly desire. It could be a favorite food or snack, a walk in the park or anything else you really like and want. It also needs to be something that you do not give yourself unless you have finished a task. That could mean fighting off the temptation to just get what you want when ever you want it. A little self discipline is required but the payoff is that you have conditioned yourself to be motivated in your work.

The Fourth Tip Is Creating A Positive Mindset

Because legitimate home based business opportunities professionals are often alone with their businesses it is easy for them to slip into negative thinking. This can drag your business down and kill your motivation for completing your projects. If and when it happens you must stop it in its tracks. Luckily it is easy to stop. Change the atmosphere in your work area by putting some fun music on your stereo. Get some pictures of your family, friends, and pets and put them on your desk where they are easy to see.

Put some fun music on or even sing to yourself. Start thinking about the fun you had last weekend. Concerning your home based business start thinking about how much money you will be making as your business grows. Just do what it takes to remove the negatives if only for a little while and start dwelling on all the positive things you can think of. Starting a project on a positive note will motivate you to finish it. Especially when the outcome of a finished project will in itself be a positive influence your life and your business

The Fifth Tip, Give Yourself A Break

If you are not giving yourself the time you need off away from work you can quickly destroy the motivation needed to complete your work. Without time off you can also make it very difficult to accomplish the above four motivational methods. Smart business owners understand they must give their employees time off not only away from work but during the work day also. If they do not give them time off they know their production levels will fall off due to a lack of motivation. The same is true for those who own a home based business. You must give yourself a break in order to be productive.

The old saying “all work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy” is very true for the self employed. Overworking your self will dull your senses, slow your thoughts and minimize your production. It is a motivation killer. By giving yourself a break and taking time off you are doing the exact opposite. You are reviving your senses, awakening your thoughts and enhancing your motivation levels. This is vital for the Internet based affiliate marketing opportunities owner.

Discover 5 Great Ways to Make Money through Article Marketing

Filed Under (article marketing) by Roy Sutanto on 26-03-2008

It is no secret that article marketing is currently the best product and website promotional tool in the internet today. Webmasters simply love it as it continues to bring favorable results not only in terms of augmenting traffic, profits and sales leads, but also in securing better ranking on search engines.

Here are the 5 great ways to make money through article marketing:

1. Increase the chances of your articles being picked up and republished by other webmasters by making them all content-rich, informative, useful, attention-grabbing, and keyword-rich. This can potentially increase the number of inbound links for your website that can lead to increased traffic and more sales leads.

2. Create compelling titles. Your headlines are your only tools in getting people to take interest on your articles when they are shown on search page results together with other articles written by different authors. If your titles are attention-grabbing and enticing, your articles will stand better chances of being opened and read.

3. Keep your articles short. People online generally prefer articles that run 300-500 words. Why? Because they are easy on the eyes and more interesting to read compare to lengthy articles. Besides, online users usually do not have much time to spare when they are looking for information over the internet.

4. Keep your sales pitches off your content. Avoid making your articles sound like sales letters. Remember, in order to convince your readers to visit your website is to give them information that they will find useful and relevant to their needs. Reserve your sales pitches for your resource box.

5. Pick the best publishing sites. Submitting your articles online can be a tedious and time-consuming task. It would help if you can identify the article submission sites that can give your articles the exposure they need and just ignore those which do not have steady traffic or not indexed by Google.

Discover 7 Exciting Secrets to Multiply Your Article Marketing

Filed Under (article marketing) by Roy Sutanto on 23-03-2008

Do you need to grow and improve your article marketing strategies? Let me show you how.

1. Don’t be just another faceless marketer and include your most friendly-looking picture on your resource box or on your author’s page. Based on researches, people are more comfortable in reading articles when they can associate a face on author’s information. It makes the communication a lot more human and genuine.

2. Write more. The idea behind submitting your articles online is to create inbound links for your website. The more articles you submit, the more quality inbound links you can obtain. These could bring you huge traffic, increased sales leads, and better page ranking.

3. Make sure that all the links in your resource box are working. Too many times, publishers have to reject articles because of broken links. To avoid that from happening, make it a habit to use the preview feature of article submission sites to make sure that your links have the ability to take your readers to your website.

4. Use anchor texts. Hyperlink your keywords instead of using absolute URLs in your resource box. Studies show that these are more effective as they appeal to the senses of online users.

5. Publish your articles. Widely distribute your articles to better connect to your target readers. Post them on article submissions sites, on your website, blog, or on forums. You can also use them as content for your ezine or compile them to create an ebook.

6. Avoid using offbeat acronyms or terms that are rather difficult to understand. To easily get your message across, make sure that every word you put on your content are simple enough to be understood even by average online users.

7. Proofread. Safeguard your online credibility and professional image by checking all your articles before you post them online. Simple grammar, spelling, and factual error may potentially annoy your readers.

Set up Your Online Business in 8 Easy Steps

Filed Under (make money online) by Roy Sutanto on 13-03-2008

It’s hard to focus when there is so much information coming at you. It’s hard to know what to use and what to discard. But it is a MUST to make those decisions and learn to make them right from the start. Information overload can drive you crazy!

Everyone talks and writes with “letters”. They should make a dictionary so we could cut the learning curve. By the time you buy all the latest products, go to conferences, and learn all the jargon, your head is spinning. You don’t know where to start so you don’t get started.

You must take action. Below you’ll find 8 ways to break it all down and make it much easier to understand. Take it one step at a time and you’ll get there!

1. Get To Know Yourself.

It’s hard when you first start to write down your interests, accomplishments, etc., so read this to get ideas and just think about them when you’re going about your day and they will be a lot easier to put on paper.
a. Accomplishments - even small things mean a lot so don’t count them out - write them down.
b. Interests - what would you do if you had spare time or extra income.
c. Does something come naturally to you - what’s easy for you may not be for someone else.
d. Now go the other way - what are some things that bother you. What annoys you. What makes you nervous.

So many times just going about your daily routine you will come across situations that you wish you could just buy a guide, have a small widget, have a mentor, etc. Write everything down, no matter how trivial you think it is. You don’t have to have one large project when a few small projects will get you the same results.

2. Keywords - Do Your Research

Look at keywords and phrases. If you find no one is looking for your subjects it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s no competition. It very likely means no one is looking for this and it will be a hard business to build.

One of the reliable and famous free search tools is Wordtracker.

3. How Much Competition Do You Have.

Like I said before, it’s not a bad thing to have some competition, it means there is interest. If you’ve thought of a subject, it’s highly unlikely that someone hasn’t thought of it and it’s failed to produce any results.

Dissect the competition - take notes. Think of better ways to do the same thing. Maybe a better story, easier system, more detail oriented.

Be unique - find your advantage.

4. Check Out Your Would-be Customers

Make a list of subjects you’ve been brainstorming about and set up a simple survey to find what questions people have about them. Give them some choices. Some hire ghostwriters to do this research/survey. It’s much easier to write about something if you know what questions they want answered.

You could run PPC (PayPerClick) advertising, write articles or you could ask questions on a few forums, with an incentive for those filling out the survey. One incentive is to offer them a digital or ebook form to download when it’s finished.

5. Product Creation

Having done the survey will make this task much easier.

They say if you want to be successful, do what successful people do. So find a few people who are successful in what you’re thinking about and interview them.

Another method is the find a quiet, serene place away from distractions to just think and write. Let the words flow and worry about editing later. Put down all your random thoughts and worry about organizing them later.

If you’re comfortable speaking, create a video with Camtasia Studio or Power Point. Some people learn better by watching and listening.

6. Sales Copy Creation

Before you produced your product, you had in mind the questions, problems, desires or frustrations your customers have. Now you have your rough draft and from that should be able to pull ideas out of that for some good sales copy.

If you’re new to this, it may be easier to start with a lower cost product that won’t require such an intense sales copy. This video will give you some ideas for creating strong sales copy.

Ask yourself how you can make your product irresistible. Do you have a special story or a special way of solving problems. Think if you were looking at your product - why would you buy it over your competitors.

7. Secure Ordering and Website Setup.

You can use Clickbank.com to set up your ordering system for digital products or a site like Kunaki for CD’s or DVD’s. If you use Paypal/Kunaki script you can even package several products together.

Free website design software is available at Nvu. HostGator is a reliable web hosting site that is cheap. Dreamweaver and Frontpage are more advanced tools that are available.

8. Traffic

Most often you will want to start generating traffic through MSN Adcenter, Google Adwords, and Yahoo Search. Generating traffic to these immediately will help you find out if your product is selling or not. If it’s selling, you’ll want to try some other strategies, especially affiliates. Test first as no one wants to be your guinea pig. One good list owner could mean instant success.

Other forms of marketing you can expand into are search engine optimization, ezine advertising, forum participation, blogs and articles as soon as your product is profitable.

Or you can do exactly like me, generating traffic by using blog. It’s much much cheaper than PPC. I recommend you Atomic Blogging.

I would like to help entrepreneurs decide if they’re building a business or a job. Make it simple. Build your online business so you can live life more freely - work less, earn more.
